Even though the law changed in 2017, with everything else going on, you might have missed the fact that the company you pay to provide your Internet Connection (Internet Service Provider) can now sell your all your private internet browsing information. So, while the Frightful 5 are in the spotlight for infringing your privacy by selling your social media usage data, no one sees more of your internet activity than your ISP. This video is an overview of how Internet Service Providers collect your private internet activity and then make it available for sale, all while you are paying them for the privilege (If you want to do something about it, here is a list of the congressional supporters). Remember, unlike with when you use an “App” your ISP sees everything you do on the Internet.
